Bucephalus Games announces launch event kits for their new Timestreams Card Game

Seattle, Washington, July 12, 2009 –Bucephalus Games, are offering advanced launch kits directly to hobby retailers for their new Timestreams card game that will allow retailers to hold prize-supported events during the launch week, with prizes in the store and cash and product prizes for the top payers in the country.

“Timestreams is a great game for in store events. We’re happy to be providing our retail partners with support in launching this line of stand-alone card games,” says Anthony Gallela, president of Bucephalus Games.

Each launch kit contains enough product and promotional materials to support 12 players for a single event, or allow for retailers to have rolling games throughout the event week, tracking players’ scores as they play. Four different, exclusive “Era” promo cards are included for participation, and one unique Era promo card will go to the store’s winner. Also included in the launch kit are two free copies of both Timestreams products for the retailer to use as they see fit. Each Timestreams launch kit costs $60 and are shipped for free.

In addition to the in-store prizing, Bucephalus is awarding four $50 prizes for the highest scores recorded for each deck type, as well as an additional $50 to the highest overall score. These four winners will also receive one free copy of Timestreams #3 (Renaissance vs. Industrial Revolution) when it launches in September, plus one other Bucephalus game of their choice.

Timestreams official street date is August 14th, and launch events will also be held at Gen Con Indy for those players attending the convention.
Retailers can register to purchase a Timestreams launch kit by contacting Bucephalus games directly at (206) 450-9555 or e-mailing andrew@bucephalus.com. Deadline for ordering the kit is July 27th, 2009.
